The Military Minute is a nonprofit organization dedicated to interviewing and telling of veteran stories and experiences. Through these stories we strive to educate others in the hope of preventing further conflicts.
The museum allows space for veteran items, uniforms, pictures and stories, a place to reflect and understand what our veterans have sacrificed through their service.
What is the money is going towards?
The money raised is to support our core mission of veteran interviews. These are professionally researched, filmed and edited in order to give the best representation of the veterans’ story possible. Each episode costs between 2,000 – 5,000 depending on distance traveled, time spent researching, and production costs. We currently have 10 episodes being researched for production this year.
The museum is privately owned and operated in Durham, California by the Farley Family and a small group of dedicated volunteers. We feature displays of all of our interviewees and local military figures both past and present. The museum also owns and restores military vehicles from WWII to today. Currently we have 11 vehicles either restored or in various stages of restoration.

Volunteer
The museum is always seeking more volunteers to assist with various task including, setting up for events, giving tours, doing general maintenance & much more. A perfect opportunity for military history enthusiasts, benefits include preserving history, honoring veterans, working on military vehicles.
